        Recieved my Tilt Head Flash Mount in a timely fashion, and was very pleasantly surprised by how well machined the pieces are. Fit and finish are superb, the way the D-ring tabs fold down out of the way makes the connections nicer than standard knobs. Setup is very easy, the unit attaches nice and tight to the bottom of the lens feet on my long lenses. After mounting my Nikon D300 with 400mm (400 mm = 1'3-24/32") f2.8 lens, I thought I would need to raise the extension to get my flash and Better Beamer high enough to clear the lens hood as well as to align the flash. Having the extension at its lowest position turned out to be a perfect placement, aligning the Better Beamer perfectly out to at least 40 feet (40 ft = 12.2 m). The best part was that I did not have to adjust my normal placement on my Jobu Black Widow Pro Gimbal to accomodate the bracket. The ease of use, and the ability to break the unit down for easy packing, will make this a "go to" piece of gear every time I am out. Thanks, Custom Brackets, for a great purchase experience.
