Excellent quality and ease in using as hand held or mounted to a tripod. Leg stand can be left on Pro E bracket when mounted to a tripod, thus quick release and continue shooting hand held. (Posted on 11/28/11)

As I cover events and do headshots, the ability to switch quickly to portrait mode is a Godsend. Every serious professional should have a CustomBracket Pro-E. I found previously, however, I had to lean the camera, bracket and flash against an object so it wouldn't fall over.

After seeing the leg stand at the CustomBrackets booth at the Pasadena ProPhotoCa conference I ordered one immediately. It is great. The legs fold so nicely when not in use so I can easily attach the bracket to a tripod. The leg stand kit comes with an Allen wrench so it is very easy to install the stand onto the bracket.
