Well designed, but could still use improvements. Review by Mr Terence
This bracket is nice compact solution to people like me who like the look of on-camera direct flash, yet shoot in both horizontal and vertical orientation. The shadows appear to fall in the same spot behind the subject both ways. Previously, I used the CB-Mini RC and loved it, but didn't care much for how the flash looked when shooting horizontal. The main downsides to this bracket is that on the Canon 5D3 with grip, the flash is not perfectly on-axis in either horizontal or vertical positions. In both directions, the flash is slightly off centered. So when shooting vertically the Canon 580EXII's auto focus assist beam doesn't fall across the center of the frame (when using the center focus point), so there's a lot of focus hunting in dark locations. The perfect flash bracket Review by Joe F
I'd been using the CB Folding-T for a few years and it always worked great but it was on the bulky side. When I saw this new bracket I placed an order immediately.
It works perfectly, it's light weight and unassuming and the rotating mechanism is very smooth.
The size is perfect and, when shooting with it, I hardly even notice that it's on the camera.
The RF-PRO is a fantastic flash bracket, I highly recommend it. (Posted on 3/4/13)
Must have for wedding photographer Review by Dmitriy
I always thought that Digital Pro-M was the best bracket that I can find on the market. But when I found the RF-PRO I realized that this is exactly the bracket I have waited for a very long time.
Very sturdy, well balanced and most importantly - very light and compact.
The flash rotator moves very smoothly, and the flash stays directly above the lens in both horizontal and vertical positions eliminating any side shadows.
This is the flash bracket you MUST HAVE if you are serious about you work. (Posted on 1/15/13)
Absoutely gorgeous and works as advertised Review by Conrad Nge
To those who wish to pickup a flash bracket especially for wedding photography, I highly recommend the RF-PRO. It's built like a tank, works 100% as advertised, extremely lightweight hence adding minimal stress onto the camera, well engineered anti-twist feature and produces awesomely even lighting on portrait and landscape position. Simply a bracket to be reckoned with. Bar none (Posted on 12/26/12)
